Just Another Day

Well, It's been a while. Been feeling anxious about the move to Corona and also buying a house. I really hope everything works out. I am being positive about everything. The house is almost packed up but it doesn't seem to end. The big move is this weekend. I am coming down with a cold but seem to be holding it off. I just need to get some rest. I worked to 1:30am Sunday night and then had to be at Bally's at 6am on Monday. I tried to catch up on my sleep but no luck. I will try to take a nap today.

Look Out Weekend Here we Come

Yeah, It's Friday the weekend is just around the corner. Well, I shouldn't be that excited since I have to work at Disneyland Saturday and Sunday as well as tonight. I think I might start posting my schedule so friends and Family can check up on me.

I hate working the Ice Cream carts.

I did some more packing this weekend it's just starting to hit me that I'm moving. The worse part is having to give up Jack for a period of time. He is staying with my friend Jackie.

97.1 Talk Radio is Dead

Sad news today my favorite radio station 97.1 talk radio is changing it's format. Going from a talk format to Top 40. I've been listening for about 10 years to this station. It was always nice to have something else to listen to when radio music station would play the same lame music over and over. My favorite show is Frosty, Heidi, and Frank. I could for some reason identify with them. Specially the relationship between Frosty and Frank. Heidi would add to the mix and it was always funny and entertaining. I would listen to Howard Stern even though he mostly rubbed me the wrong way, it was still attention grabbing. After Howard left they brought in Adam Corolla, he is a little bit stuck in the 70's and have some strong opinions but still was entertaining with Theressa and Bryon. In the evenings I would listen to Tim Conway and partners. So many laughs. Well Sad news. I guess there will be future Pod Cast I'll have to figure out how to get them on my Ipod and listen to them at work.

Here at work now, it's kind of a slow day. Some drama with one of the area supervisors. But for the most part quit.

I've started packing up the house for the move next month. I have so many emotions going on sad, nervous, excited, happy. I really do love the house that I'm in. Maybe by the time I am able to buy the house it will be up for sale and I can buy it. Who knows. Well back to work.

Michael's Birthday

Today February 17th My oldest Nephew, Michael's Birthday. He is 19 today. I can still remember the day he was born. It was raining just like today. His Mother was in the room with my brother. I woke up thinking he would be born that day. I went in and asked if she was feeling ok, she was then got up to use the restroom. Then there was the scream that her water had broke. About 10 hours later Michael was born. He was so little and purple when I first saw him. He soon got his normal coloring and was so beautiful, I just loved him so much.

He has grown up to be a very good man. I am so proud of him. We are going out tonight to dinner at a restaurant of his choice.

Back to work after my long 4 day weekend!!! Had such a nice weekend at Mom and Dads place. Jack and I left early 5am on Friday. No traffic, hit rain just before Fresno. Rain continued until just after passing the Casino and snow started to fall. It was wierd one second all you heard was rain pounding the car then quit as the snow hit, I was unsure what was happening for a second. I was so excited I had to call my Brother Mike. He was happy for me. Got to my folks I was so happy to see them and let Jack out. The snow wasn't sticking at first, but soon we had about 6 inches on the ground. I let Jack run around in it, at first he seemed unsure but didn't long for him to start having some fun running around in it. Dad was suppose to work but got a phone call letting him know not to bother coming in since the roads were closed into Oakhurst. So we spent the day in and out of the snow. Built a Snowman and did other fun stuff. Saturday went into Fesno for Shopping and lunch and had a nice time. Sunday Dad had to work and I left around 3:45pm. The drive went well and got home around 7:30pm. Jack traveled so good and was great the whole trip.

Ok, here it goes. Well, my Sister-n-Law Dana has inspired me to start a blog. So here it goes.
Today is Thursday Feruary 12, 2009. I'm at work now and shouldn't be doing this, but today is lite for some reason and I have a little time. I also work at Disneyland this afternoon and I'm looking forward to it just to get the day over with. I'm going out of town for a long weekend to my parents up in Coarsegold. There will be snow this weekend!! I'm very excited it's been awhile since I've been in the snow. I'm just taking my dog Jack, a Jack Russel Terrier. I'm curious to see how he reacts to the snow...It will be the first time driving all by myself I'm a little nervous.
